April 18-Family Art Night 6:30-7:30: Create a watercolor of your own self-portrait in the style of Picasso. Light dinner served at 6:00 p.m. Please call Dusty by April 12 at 503 916.6209 to let us know you will attend dinner so that we can plan for enough food. This event is free to current and incoming Grout families.

April 25-PTA International Fair 6:00-7:30: There will be a Cake Walk, Raffle, DJ with Dancing, BBQ, Face Painting, and much more!

6:00 p.m. -  Dinner – Dinner is optional.  The food is provided by our PTA for sale in the cafeteria.  Coffee and other refreshments served for free.

6:30 p.m. -          Open House Program for Incoming Parents and Students.  Are you considering D.A. Grout for next year?  Come visit and see what we’re doing.  Please attend the 6:30 Open House in the auditorium and then the roundup activities.

-          Connect to Kindergarten – Do you have a child who will be five years old by September 1?  This is the night to come visit the kindergarten classrooms and register for school.  Registration for Kindergarten is open now! Register at the school on this night or any time at the school office.

6:30 – 7:30 p.m. - Curriculum Night for all Parents and Students – Come learn about our Social Studies curriculum. Classrooms will feature student work and activities throughout the evening. Visit classrooms and meet Teachers, Parents and Students.

Other organizations present at the open house: SUN Community School, YMCA Childcare, and Boys and Girls Club.

Childcare will be provided for preschool children ages 3-4.

Spanish, Somali, & Burmese interpreters provided.
