This Week at Grout: April 17-21

Hope you all had a nice weekend. Here’s the run down for the week:

Mon, 4/17 5pm to 8pm – Burgerville Dine Out

  • Grout Elementary gets 10% of all sales whether it is dine-in, take-out or drive-thru. Stop by for dinner.
  • Also, if you are able to, we can still use some volunteers in the 6pm & 7pm time slots. Kids are welcome to help out. Here’s the link to the volunteer schedule:

    Thurs, 4/20 6:30pm  Spring Concert for Grades 3-5

    Other Events of Interest

    Wed. 4/26 6pm to 8pm – Through the Eyes of Youth: Islamophobia from the Perspective of Youth

    At Catholic Charities Clark Family Center, 2740 SE Powell Blvd.

    Three students in Kateri Park’s Homework Club, including a two Grout students,  want to share with the community what it is like for them to be black, Muslim girls in Portland. They will be talking about the broader issues of racism and Islamophobia as well as sharing personal experiences.
